Our mission
femtis - education with period underwear!
7 out of 10 German menstruating women use conventional disposable tampons and pads and are increasingly bothered by the price, packaging waste and pain. Almost half of menstruating women would like to use reusable period underwear, but the proportion is actually less than seven percent today.
The reason? Uncertainty and a lack of information.
femtis Vision - safe . comfortable . period
femtis focuses on education. We have made it our goal to educate people about menstrual health and create transparency. We stand for safety, comfort and a down-to-earth approach at every stage of life.
Our start
The first idea to develop period underwear was born in 2017. We had already come across the sustainable alternative during a trip to the USA, where it had already given the old tampons and pads a longer break. Quickly tested by ourselves and with friends, menstrual underwear triggered enthusiasm in us in the form of new freedoms, comfort, and an improved feeling. Now it was clear that we needed that too - femtis was born. With a lot of passion and hard work, we brought our first period panty JULE to life in 2018.

- Strong women: The project of the Self-Help for the Homeless Hanover supports homeless FLINTA persons with their challenges in everyday life.
