How to find the right size for your panty
The best way to find the right size for your panty is to use your regular underwear as a guide for the cut. Our size chart will also help you decide on the right size. Please note that the size chart is a guide. The perfect fit depends on several factors, including the cut of the panty, its waistband and your individual body shape.
You can get an overview of the different properties, such as absorbency, fit (hipster, low waist, high waist, etc.), fabric (lace, spandex, cotton, ...), protection area and different colours of our panties as monthly hygiene in our product comparison.
Do you have a heavy menstrual flow? Then we have the right panties for you with our extra strong styles. Our JULE ULTRA can absorb up to 60 ml of fluid in the absorbent core, which corresponds to the absorbency of about 9 tampons. Find out how the absorbent core and the individual layers of your panty work as a replacement for sanitary pads, tampons or menstrual cups in our how it works section.
If you are looking for smaller sizes, then you will certainly find the right model with the femtis leak protection for your period in our teen period underwear.

Period underwear from femtis replaces disposable period products or can be worn in addition to tampons, pads or menstrual cups. The femtis period underwear is reusable and washable like your favourite underwear. Find all the information in our FAQs and the most important answers right here.
What is the best period underwear for large sizes?
femtis period underwear offers you different styles in different absorbencies. You will find vegan and biocide-free period underwear with safe leakage protection. Since the launch of our Curvy Collection, we have been striving to offer more styles in sizes up to 6XL. femtis as a manufacturer offers you safe anti-leakage protection without biocides or silver chloride in different color combinations for your menstrual period.
How often do you have to change a plus size period panty?
We recommend changing your period underwear after 8 hours or when it starts to feel moist. The frequency of changing also depends on your individual bleeding intensity. Period underwear as a period product is more comfortable to wear for many than cloth pads, cotton pads or night pads, and the pad also does not feel diaper-like. A big plus, especially for girls and during the first menstrual bleeding: Nothing has to be inserted in the genital area and it looks like a normal panty.
Period Panties in Large Sizes: How to wash & care?
Wash your femtis period panties by hand with cold water after wearing. Make sure that the blood is completely washed out. You can tell when the water is clear. This is especially important to prevent permanent stains.
Afterwards you can either wash them directly or after a short intermediate drying in the air with the machine at a washing temperature of up to 60 degrees. For the longevity of the fabric, we recommend washing at 40 degrees. Ideally, use a washing net to protect the panty. Then let them air dry and they're ready for use again.
Please do not use fabric softener, do not put them in the dryer and do not iron the panties as this could damage the absorbency of the Period Panties. You can use a fabric softener if you like.
