Our period underwear works like regular underwear, only better: Depending on the model, the integrated membrane system has up to seven layers. These absorb fluid, prevent leaks, and keep you feeling dry and secure. Learn more about how it works here.

The number of tampons a femtis period underwear replaces varies by model, ranging from one to 9 tampons. Light-flow models replace approximately one tampon, while models for heavy bleeding can absorb up to 9 tampons (40 ml).

“Sustainable” sounds good - but it is often said too easily. Our period underwear is washable, reusable - and therefore a conscious alternative to disposable products such as tampons or pads. In the innermost layer that comes into contact with the intimate area, we use organic* cotton and continually test new materials. Our briefs are free from silver chloride, silver nitrate, zinc pyrithione, and biocides and 100% animal-free.
